As you drive through the huge log entrance-way into Tranquility Woods, the pressure of everyday life begins to fade away! Tranquility Woods is a secluded haven nestled into the backwoods of Errington, BC on Vancouver Island, just minutes away from beautiful Englishman River Falls Provincial Park. Situated on 13.3 acres in a gorgeous, forested setting in the foothills of Arrowsmith Mountain. Hit the Tranquility Hiking Trail that winds around the property.

Reggies Road House Log Cabin

This magnificent theme cabin is called "Reggies Road House" in the Old Caribou Gold Rush tradition. The cabin is totally hand hewn from local Errington logs and is fully self-contained. The interior includes a Gold Rush theme with stone fireplace, full kitchen, dining room, bedroom with a queen bed, four-piece bathroom and French doors opening from the living room onto a private deck! Wi-fi available throughout most of the park. This deluxe log cabin would have been a prospector's dream!

Tranquility Woods Campground

Each of our 32 private camp sites is treed and includes a picnic table and fire ring. We have 11 cozy, campsites up front in the young evergreens, close to the washroom, playground, volleyball court and horse shoe pit. Out back in the more mature forest are 21 larger "exclusive sites", each located on about 1/4 acres of land for privacy, peace and tranquility. Wi-Fi is available at most sites. Our heated washroom sports an up dated sink and a flush toilet, and a separate shower room. Most of the sites have a tap located at, or very near to them. Our water is tested regularly, and is perfect for drinking.

We also have a coin operated washer/dryer for your convenience.

How you are greeted

This is a 1 bedroom authentic log cabin. Our log cabin has been newly outfitted with modern furniture, dishes, pots and pans, BBQ and appliances. The bedding that I have chosen to use is made in Canada. There is a cozy fireplace in the corner, and we supply you wood and kindling for your fires. We start you off with fresh ground organic coffee from a local coffee company, fresh organic cream, organic apples and oranges, organic popcorn, assorted teas, hot chocolate, fresh flowers, and a little candy.

Why stay here

Our cozy 1 bedroom log cabin has a queen size bed and a comfortable queen size hide abed that will accommodate 2 more people. The log cabin is fully equipped for you to stay here in comfort. The cabin has satellite TV and high speed wireless internet. There is also a coin operated washer and dryer conveniently located a few steps from your door.

The unique benefits of staying here in our log cabin are: we are centrally located, a short distance to Parksville, Coombs, Qualicum, and Nanaimo, BC. The Englishman River falls is located .5 kilometers from here. We are located at the gateway to Cathedral Grove Park, Port Alberni, Ucluelet, and Tofino, BC.
